Who is Moiz Meseri?
A Brief History of Success
Even before completing his university education, Moiz Meseri embarked on his professional journey. His early experience at Kovuk İnşaat and Adıgüzel Yapı Malzemeleri helped him define what an ideal architect should be—someone proficient in both design and application.
Between 1991 and 1994, he served as a manager at Eczacıbaşı Karo Seramik. His role in after-sales services gradually expanded to include collaborations with the Production Planning and Sales & Marketing departments. His responsibilities encompassed showroom designs, exhibition planning, training for craftsmen, and managing relationships with customers and construction firms. These experiences enriched his expertise and deepened his understanding of corporate operations.
His exposure to international markets through these roles played a significant part in his transition to entrepreneurship in 1996. Following his military service, he joined his father’s company, Pasifik Dış Ticaret, as a partner, marking the beginning of his independent business career.
In 1997, he was appointed as the Regional Manager for Turkey at Ceramiche Marazzi, following the end of their partnership with Eczacıbaşı Karo Seramik. During this time, he also discovered his passion for accessible architecture. Introduced to Stannah Stairlifts through a design magazine sent by his uncle, Professor Avner Levi of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, he ventured into inclusive and accessible design solutions.
Contributions to Accessible Architecture
Inclusive architectural design became a defining focus of his career. He led innovative projects for individuals with disabilities, ensuring their living and working environments met the highest standards of hygiene, comfort, safety, and ergonomics.
Some of his most notable works include:
- Sensory Perception Rooms: Designed to aid in the rehabilitation of children with cognitive disabilities.
- Barrier-Free Holiday Village (2003): Conceptualized and executed inclusive spaces for people with disabilities.
- Çayırova Municipality Barrier-Free Living Center: A holistic project that combined structural and social solutions for accessibility.
- Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC) in Doha: A large-scale project addressing accessibility and circulation challenges.
His expertise led to an invitation from the State Planning Organization to provide training on the ‘Disability Rights Law,’ approved during President Ahmet Necdet Sezer’s tenure.
Architectural Philosophy
To Moiz Meseri, architecture is a fusion of technical, aesthetic, and functional elements, orchestrated to create meaningful spaces. However, he emphasizes that architecture extends beyond physical structures—it must also consider human needs, psychological influences, and socio-economic factors.
Sustainability and adaptability are inherent aspects of good architecture. He critiques the overuse of trendy terms like ‘sustainability,’ stating that responsible architects have always prioritized environmental consciousness and energy efficiency. Architecture, in his view, is both an art and a science, requiring a deep respect for its intellectual and ethical dimensions.
He asserts that architects were among the first professionals in history, shaping civilizations with their designs. As architects, he believes they hold a sacred responsibility to create spaces that cater to humanity’s evolving needs while respecting the fundamental principles of design.

Under Moiz Meseri’s leadership, Meseri Energy embodies his philosophy of intelligent, efficient, and accessible design. The company integrates innovative architectural solutions with sustainable energy practices, ensuring a seamless blend of functionality and environmental responsibility.
With decades of expertise in architecture, project management, and engineering, Meseri Energy continues to push the boundaries of excellence, crafting spaces that enhance the quality of life for individuals and communities alike.
